Assistant Manager – Central Victoria Livestock Exchnage (CVLX), Ballarat

 

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to join our team to manage the day-to-day operations of CVLX.

 

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager Central Victoria , Livestock Exchange, the Assistant Manager leads a team of skilled staff in the delivery of business operations and services, facility management and maintenance, finance management, meeting and exceeding compliance with WH&S relevant industry legislation and practices.

 

The Assistant Manager plays an integral part in our succession plan and is expected to understand all aspects of the business, and work under indirect supervision in the day to day operations of the facility.

Risk and Compliance Manager – AAMIG, Brisbane Qld

 

The key purpose of the Risk & Compliance Manager role is to lead all aspects of AAMIG and its subsidiaries, relating to the compliance and reporting obligations, governance across multiple entities and provide advice and training as required.

 

Key responsibilities include:

– Manage the day-to-day compliance function partnering with various stakeholders and business units.

– Review new business initiatives, operational procedures and major operational and systems changes from a regulatory perspective.

– Develop, review and maintain compliance standards and policies.

– Develop and or review agreements and establish systems to manage the agreements.

– Monitor the management of the contractual obligations and agreements between AAMIG entities.

– Advise and review content of marketing material, PDS, application forms, research reports, platform applications and other regulatory documents.

– Manage the company’s licensing, registration, regulatory reporting and timely submission of reports as required.

An Operations Assistant is required to undertake the following duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including assisting with the accounting and administration of sale day activity as required, assisting in sale day activities when and where required, including reconciling animals sold and delivered and undertaking feeding of livestock.

The Manager – Technology, Business Analysis & Improvement will oversee the Business Improvements Program across the asset management and operational business.  This includes the oversight of the end-to-end project management for business improvement projects and the effective contract management for the provision of day-to-day technology services and IT infrastructure.
